Jules Underwater Lodge located in Key Largo, Florida, gives you the experience of being drowned alive but still being able to talk about it. In order to get to the hotel, instead of the old fashioned car or airplane, one must scuba dive “21 feet beneath the surface of the sea” - Jules’ really is located underwater. The hotel was previously and currently an underwater research facility dedicated to examining habitats under the sea. Now you can be apart of the fun. Ridiculous perhaps, but it is kitschy. The hotel maxes out a at 6 friends or 2 couples. And don’t worry, it has air-conditioning, hot showers, stereo music, VCR/DVD, a fully “stocked galley” - wow, just like a Motel 6! ...

Most of us are guilty of enjoying the opportunity to receive samples. Whether it’s candy, or hair products, freebies almost always rock. Well here is one freebie trend we’d love to see come over to the U.S. In Japan there are “Sample Labs” full of product sample freebies. An $11 annual fee gets you access to lab, and each visit lets you take up to 5 items per visit. However,Before each visit you have to pre-register online or via cell phone. Diet noodles, keychains, hand cream and coffee are just some of the samples that are available (Source: Wired Magazine, November ‘07).

There are certainly plenty of USB flash drives out there - some weirder than the next in regards to design. But no one has really started altering the the tiniest of USB flash drives yet till now. Coolkii is selling what they call USB memory jewels. To put it simply, it is an ultra lightweight flash USB drive that is pimped out in Swarovski crystals. Many designs are available and they are admittedly, quite pretty. The “jewels” can hold up to 1 or 2 gb of space and range from $38.55 - $41.52. Strange pricing for a strange product but hey if you are one of the gadget girls who needs to carry a USB with you why not make it trendy and small.

I suck at math - I still use my fingers and toes to add and subtract - so sue me. Well really, generally I just use a calculator when its available. But I have to say this is maybe the most ingenious calculator I have come a cross. Qmemory 256MB USB Card with a built in basic calculator. I really don’t know what else is in store for the simple USB storage devices out there…what’s next a USB card or flash drive attached to a working toilet?! But I digress…this is pretty clever but with only 256 MB of storage I don’t know how much you will be able to save on here …maybe a few excel files to use with ...
A few weeks ago we did a review on The Pink Samsung U3 which we dubbed the the Shuffle killer. So of course Samsung went ahead and released a few weeks later what certainly seems like an attempt to be an iPod Touch killer. Sadly no matter how many companies try, I think that will be a feet that will take awhile to accomplish but the Samsung P2 gives it the old college try and it does have a lot to offer….

Similar to that of the U3 installation - the P2 installed pretty smoothly in Vista. The P2 comes with a USB cable to attach to your computer and once you plug it in, Vista picked it up ...
