I’m a huge fan of Pylones. They take the most ordinary kitchen, desk, and home items and turn them into colorful pieces of art. So I wasn’t all that surprised to see that have added their touch to a pair of headphones. Pylones is offering up headphones with different motifs called Pod Pals. Each one depicts flowers, penguins, and a butterfly. There is no guarantee if these sound any good but for the price of $12, it won’t break the bank if the sound quality isn’t very impressive.

What could very well be the next phenomenon like the Sunggie. The Earpops are unique earmuffs minus the headband. Just slide the washable ear muff over your ear and you will look like the modern day version of Princess Leia. They are available in several colors and styles like camouflage, leopard print and faux fur. You’ll just have to measure your ear to make sure which size will fit you. The best part is that they are pretty cheap at only $7.95 each so if you lose an ear – it won’t cost that much to replace. I guess this ...
Well corrupting the iPhone and iPod Touch wasn’t enough for Paul Frank. Now they are spreading the cuteness to Macbook Pro’s now. If you have a 15″ Macbook Pro you have can choose between Julius adorning your Macbook Pro or Skurvy. Both sleeves have a neoprene form fit, soft interior lining, and reinforced stitching. Both items retail for $49.95 and can be found at the Apple Store.
Sometimes companies should stick with what they know best. Creative is one such company who was always known for making great speakers for computers as well as sound cards, but then they sort of fell down the rabbit hole when they deviated to Vado and Zen. Well the Gigaworks HD50i is a good example of them sticking to what they know best. This speaker system combines high-definition drivers with Titanium supertweeters, built-in BasXPort which eliminates a third bulky subwoofer which takes up desk space. Lastly you can dock your iPod which is truly icing on the cake, and there an included remote that controls it all.
We promised no more mentioning of Hello Kitty wares – and I guess we lied, but we couldn’t resist not mentioning this latest one. The Hello Kitty Sushi Maker is a ridiculous waste of money, but if you use it correctly you’ll have the most interesting looking sushi ever! Fresh from Strapya World is the Sanrio Hello Kitty Sushi Maker. The kit includes everything in pink. The compressor is even a Hello Kitty shape. I still don’t know how to make normal Sushi, so I can’t imagine what it would turn out if I attempted to make this! It would probably look like a Pokemon instead. If ...
We received a sample pair from Gasper Gloves that use TouchTec technology. We had previously seen a demo of some TouchTec gloves in action and had briefly tried them out. And finally I got to spend some serious time with a pair of my own. The black leather pair that I received is lined with a very soft and very warm fleece lining. It has gotten very cold in New York this past week, so the timing couldn’t be better to be using these gloves. I can’t describe what a treat it is to be able to use my iPhone outside in the cold without having to pull off my gloves. I’ve become the envy of my peers whose ...
