Another example of fashion meets technology. The latest slim line speakers from Hercules were just so appealing, that artist Amylee has created ‘Trend tableaus’ which depict the convergence of consumer technology and style trends. Hercules announced the new XPS 2.0 40 Slim and XPS 2.1 40 Slim Speakers which obviously give us a clue as to her style preference. The XPS 2.0 40 is less than 2 1/2” wide and 9 1/2” tall and designed with a high-quality speaker grille fabric, they offer a total power of 5 watts RMS, and 10 watts at peak. The XPS 2.1 40 also features a  subwoofer and output of  32 watts RMS.  The Hercules XPS 2.0 40 Slim and XPS 2.1 40 Slim both come with a mini wired remote control, featuring a volume control knob, headphone jack and line in input, allowing users to directly connect an MP3 player. Both are compatible with PC, Mac, MP3 players, etc… The Hercules XPS 2.0 and 2.1 are both sleek and minimalistic in a high gloss black design. The XPS 2.0 40 Slim will be available for $34.99 and the XPS 2.1 40 Slim will be available for $59.99 in early November 2009.
